Fats delivery, the food is fresh and tasty

I was hungry after a long distance cycling and stopped by here. This restaurant is old, old fashion and cozy, that I like better most of the time than modern looking ones. They only had one vegetarian option! :-( The vegetarian warp was basically only hot cheese tomato and cucumber etc. It tasted different and good but not a typical fried veggies pita wrap. The pita seemed fresh and salad sauce was tasty. Wished my food was served in a plate, but nobody asked! A little pricy for a veggie combo for the quantity I got. The old woman and younger girl at the cash were not very welcoming and friendly. In contrast, the owner, George? I think, was absolutely hospitable and lovely, with a real smile! :-) He even offered me some (of their own) watermelon when I saw on another customer’s table and I wanted to order. In fact the kitchen is not visible. Next time in this area of the city, I’ll go to meet him again in his restaurant! :-)

Good value reasonable portions and prices; super casual

Good food, good price, great delivery. The fries were sweet, flavorful and dark and the lamb was tender, the tomato thick, juicy and completely fresh. Great complement to a Pandemic date night. <3

Best pita in the business. And I love there vegetarian pita

Since there aren't any good greek restaurants that deliver in the Lachine area,Souvlaki George is a great life line for a souvlaki pita, and outstanding greek poatoes. 4 stars only cause they are a bit stringy on the tzatziki sauce but loads of meat. A must try.

Excellent souvlaki, delicious home fried potatoes and tasty salad dressing. George is always courteous and the staff is very pleasant.

Ordered (take-out) two Johnny deluxe salads (Greek salads with gyro meat) with a side of Tzatziki.We were very disappointed with the salads, which were almost exclusively romaine lettuce. Very little thinly sliced feta cheese an almost no cucumbers/tomatoes/onions.I might have been spoiled by every other Greek restaurants I ever went to.The gyro meat which came with the salad was good and the side of Tzatziki was excellent.

Best gyro I ever had. The portion of meat was generous, flavourful and tender. The bread felt like it had been made fresh. I order regularly from there and each time, it is as good as I remembered! Highly recommended!

Best souvlaki ever. I've eaten at many Greek restaurants and by far this is the best! The pita bread is fluffy, almost like Naan bread. The gyro meat was tender as could be. My son had the lamb pita which was also extremely tender. The Greek home fries were delicious.Kathy and George were soooooo friendly. I felt very welcomed.I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone. Most definitely will be going back. This will be my go to Greek restaurant in the future. My son suggested we go as he orders quite often from George's Restaurant.

The taste is so good. I live 20 km away and I drive all the way just because I like the food there. Good portions, good price. Not very fancy but I don't mind.

Delicious food and quick service

Ordered a gyro pita plate with carrot cheesecake. I enjoyed every bite of my dinner! The meat was generous, fresh and flavorful, and the pita bread was perfectly toasted.

I’ve passed by this place so many times, as I grew up not far away. I heard great things so I wanted to see for myself. I ordered through their website and within 20 minutes it was delivered to my door. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered for my family chicken pitas, fries, chicken stick plates with potatoes, rice and salad. The portion of green salad could have been more generous but other than that I enjoyed it very much and so did my family. I definitely recommend Souvlaki George.

Great food! Wonderful location, and fairly decent prices too. Plus their house lemonade is refreshing!

This place is great! Never disappointed. I wish they were downtown but that's about it!

Over the years, this establishment provided consistent great quality! George even catered for us a time or two. Always great heaping plates, of hot Greek selections that hits the spot every time. Cold too if you count the Greek salads! And of course if George is there, say hi!

Loved it. Generous portion, ask for the Greek potatoes, they are awesome. Dutiful personnel, I am in a wheelchair and they served me outside their terrace. Delicious plates !

AMAZING BEEF GYRO ! Haven’t tried anything else on the menu but the gyro are a must try at this place. Filled with flavour and will fill you up for sure.

Very ambiance and family oriented place. The decor is simple however nice. The staff is polite and appreciable, make You feel like they know all their clients, as family members. The manu very good. The plates are huge and very well priced. The meat quality is exceptional and the vegetables are fresh, as just taken from the back garden. Even the table salt taste better. Outstanding gem for a bitd in the area. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

SO TASTY, you can never go wrong. Prices are fair too and the chicken pitas are out of this world! If you live far order from Uber eats at least that’s what I do and the food comes delicious

We ordered chicken pitas with a side of poutine and ceaser salad for a very reasonable price. To my surprise the services was quick. The terraces is a great place to sit on a nice evening and the area is busy with people walk so there is lots to see.

While ordering through take out will still result in some of the best pitas you've ever had, eating on the terrace for lunch or dinner is an experience all on its own. Super friendly family-based staff and the food is always fresh. You can taste every ingredient in every bite. Great place with great prices.

I've ordered a couple of times for this restaurant. The price is reasonable and the food is amazing! The salad dressing they make is soo good as well as their chicken pita wrap!!

Order a takeout from thee many times.But this time food was beyond expectations. Calamari very greasy. Portion was bow average.Fried were good. Gyros was very greasy. Not sure how fresh it was because I had the runs that night.

I got the chicken wraps they had listed under COMBO on their website and what we got for the price was really good! I suggest delivery rather than eating in the restaurant since you can get COMBOs that way which is really their best point. COMBOs or go home.

I lived in Montreal for eight years, five in NDG. Souvlaki George was part of the neighborhood. His Tzatziki is among the best I've ever had, and is constantly winning awards. Open late or for an early weekend lunch Souvlaki George is a great spot to stop by for a snack! In the summer the homemade lemonade is a great way to fight off the heat! Get the Grape leaves as a side you won't be disappointed!!

Don't judge a book by its cover or a restaurant by its outside terrace, by its simple and old school menu. We found this restaurant randomly and decided to try out their gyro and chicken pita combos. Amazing pita bread, tasty meat and delicious tzatziki dressing. Good choice for a quick lunch or dinner! Would definitely come back!

Absolutely scrumptious. We got take out at 8:30pm on a Sunday and everything was freshly prepared crisp and delicious. The portions are really big for the price you will have leftovers for lunch. We got the chicken pita plate and the gyro plate: both came with a side of freshly chopped salad and a really good dressing. Be ready for extreme garlic tho ( in the best way) My only comment is to include a vegetarian plate option with the Greek potatoes, rice, salad with a bit more feta than the side salad and tzatziki. That would be perfection. Will be returning, thank you!
